Shipping Information
Every effort is made to maintain price stability, however due to unforeseen circumstances such as the growing costs of material, packaging supplies, labor, insurance etc., we reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. For your convenience our products are priced by the unit. Special pricing for lab start-ups is available—call for more information.
A 1.5% per month service charge may be made on past due accounts. There is a $50 minimum order. Some products may only be available in case quantities and cannot be sold otherwise.
Standing orders are invited and may include a number of items.
Free samples for evaluation purposes are available upon request with the exception of some Sterilized and Pre-Racked products.
All orders are shipped F.O.B. warehouse or point of manufacture. Freight charges are prepaid and added to the invoice. Shipments leave our warehouse in good condition. Immediately upon receipt of shipment, carefully inspect for damages or shortages. Our shipping cut off time is 3:00pm CST. DO NOT accept the damaged shipment until the carrier's driver makes a “Damage Notation” on your delivery receipt or freight bill. If a shortage or damage exists, you should immediately request the carrier make an inspection. If they do not comply with your request, prepare an affidavit stating that you notified the carrier on a certain date and they failed to make an inspection. Discrepancies must also be reported to our Customer Service Department within 7 days of receipt of merchandise.
All in-stock items ship the same day on orders received before 3:00pm CST!
Concealed damage must be reported to the carrier and an inspection requested within 15 days of delivery.
To obtain credit for your return prior written authorization is mandatory. A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number will be issued as your authority to make a return and must be referenced on return shipping labels and documents. (Returns arriving without reference to the RGA number will be refused). Authorized returns must be received by SciMart within 45 days of the issuance date of the RGA. A restocking fee may be assessed depending on the factors involved in specific transaction. Please contact our Customer Service Department for further information. Note Products that have been special ordered, repackaged, custom labeled, modified, mutilated, discontinued, changed in design, or have no useful shelf life, cannot be returned. SciMart warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship. SciMart will replace product or issue credit, at its sole option, upon prompt notification and compliance with its instructions.
SciMart expressly disclaims all other warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and further excludes consequential damages arising out of the use or description of the products herein.
SciMart's sole responsibility and the purchaser's exclusive remedy for any claim arising out of the purchase of any product in the catalog is the replacement, or credit as described above where applicable. In no event: 1) shall the cost of the exclusive remedy exceed the purchase price; 2) shall SciMart be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages, irrespective of whether attributable to contract, warranty, negligence, strict liability or otherwise.
